BOO at the Zoo

What a GREAT way to do "Halloween"! Two of my friends and I, along with our kiddos braved the chilly October night to do "BOO at the ZOO"! We had so much FUN! The zoo was decked out with decorations and lots of "candy stops" dotted the trail. Plus the kiddos got to view some animals...not just those behind the cages, but the costumes as well. Not to mention the zoo has lots of hills and it's a GREAT way to add some EXTRA EXERCISE IN! Then you can have some candy and not feel guilty! "BOO at the ZOO" is certain to become 'the Kramer boys' annual Halloween event. We'll have to tug along the hubbies next time!
Added bonus... The local news was there to do a story on "Boo at the Zoo", and I was chosen to "interview". So famous mommy and her little BUZZ-LIGHT year with Chicken Little side-kick were on tv tonight!
Enjoy the kiddos... I made a quick video of some pictures!
Spider man- Quen, Fairy Princess- Josie....and "Cow girl" Bri was always trailing behind...then it got too dark. Steph did you get a few pictures? Send them my way!

What are you doing for Halloween? Does it involve some walking? Be sure to get some extra "CALORIE BURNING" moves in or that candy will show up on the scale!!! MODERATION is key...and EXERCISE is ESSENTIAL!
Move it,

Bathtime

Here are two of the cutest little boys ever! We're trying "tag-team" bathtime and the boys love it! Jackson thinks it's cool to take a bath with little bro, and Dane just spashes away! ENJOY!

Happy Birthday to Stacey! Check out her blog she's having a birthday give away! She's got GREAT hats, braclets, and more!

Time to Read?

Ok, Ok, you're thinking WHEN DOES SHE HAVE TIME TO READ? Well, I have just about as much time to read as you do! Yes, a mother of two little ones CAN FIND TIME! Remember, it's all about balance! One must take care of her family and friends, but always striving for BALANCE with oneself. Why? Simple...if you do not nurture yourself, self will be lost...resulting in CRANKY mommy, UNHAPPY wife, UN CAPABLE friend which leaves UNHAPPINESS for everyone!
So the next time your thinking of indulging your need for "alone" time remember the above sentence.
It may take me a few weeks to finish the book, but I will do it and ENJOY every moment!
What will your vice be this week? Exercise is a GIVEN....we've already established that one...what else will you do to fill some "alone" time and get that much needed mental break?

I'll let you know how it is...certain to be good because it's Nicholas Spark's Latest release!

Move it,
Roxy

I'm BACK....and GOING!!!

We've had a busy week...recovering from a GI bug, which caused me to miss 3 of the 4 aerobics classes last week...our family turned it into HIGH GEAR over the week-end!
Celebration of our Anniversary....you must go visit West Baden Hotel!!! Then a mini- marathon on Sunday morning, and rounded out the week-end with Holiday world! Needless to say yesterday was a LONG day!
Check out the photos! ENJOY!

Be sure to GET MOVING....form those exercise habits BEFORE WINTER!!!

Good HEALTH

Isn't he just adorable?

Sorry to have been away so long...busy week and then this past few days I've been BIT by the GI bug! Not fun!!! Down about 5 lbs in 2 days! Which is another reminder for me of how THANKFUL I am for my health. I do Thank God daily for this, but do somewhat take it for granted. These last few days I was ever to aware of how BLESSED I am.
So today I took it easy... no Mommy and Me class...no running around town...no going to the park...no battles to clean or make dinner...just focused on trying to recoup and take care of the kiddos. Which I must say was a workout in itself today when my body has NO ENGERY!
So...we'll take it slow over the next few days and then GO FULL FORCE! Maybe a slow walk tomorrow and get moving for a better rest of the week!
To OUR HEALTH,
Roxy
