Kramer Christmas

Sorry for the lack of posts...both kiddos got sick over the holiday...Jackson with Strep Throat and Dane with an ear infection. Both got "bumble gum flavored" AMoxicillin...and love it. Thank goodness for flavorings...both are already feeling 100% better. WE're off to celebrate the New Year...pictures tomorrow.

Here are a few pictures of the Kramer Christmas.

Me-Me and Aunt Tammie looking at the "photo book".

"Farmer Stan" per Jackson... he got some lottery tickets and was VERY EXCITED!

Tyler holding Dane.

Hubby trying out Guitar Hero.

Jackson loves to play "hospital"...now he's got the tools.

The Three Amigos...we each got a vest from Tammie. THANKS!

Hope you've been exercising!!! Tomorrow's a NEW YEAR...start it off RIGHT and get some exercise in!

Mommy and Me Holiday Party

What fun I had last night....hosting the FIRST ANNUAL Mommy and Me Holiday Party!
There were 15 of the ladies able to come, and we had a BLAST! Wonderful food and great drinks... "Candy Cane Martinis" and "Holiday Champagne" topped the list with of course Sparkling Pomegranate Juice for those excepting or nursing. The best part was AMAZING fellowship with FIT, FIERCE, and FABULOUS women! We also did a "sweet swap"- check out the spread of goodies in the slide show. Everyone brought about 5 dozen of their favorite "sweet" and we "sampled" after eating some "real" food. Then before leaving everyone filled their platter with a little of each. Now everyone has a GREAT Holiday spread of treats to share with their family and friends....all the while looking like "Martha Stewart". Shh... I'll never tell!
One of the other highlights was the Chinese gift exchange. Everyone brought a wrapped $10 gift and we got to choose a gift or "steal" from someone else. I LOVED my gift... a good bottle of red wine! Can't wait to pop the cork!

So thanks to those that attended!
Oh, and YES... I did get up and teach BODYPUMP this morning. Had to burn off that chocolate and of course a couple of those cocktails! I'll be up and doing it again tomorrow...well, STEP class at least. Do it with me...get that LAST workout in before CHRISTmas!

Happy Holidays!!!

Enjoy the show....

Holiday SPIRIT

Today was a crazy day...get up... change 3 diapers...Dane pooped 5 minutes after I changed his morning diaper then Jackson decided to "go" at the same time. Anyway, where was I...oh yeah, fix breakfast, dress everyone including.... myself as today is the 1 day I don't have to "teach" a class, and I'm not attending because of the CRAZY "to do" list. ( I deserve one day off?)
Drop Jackson off at preschool...run to starbucks... had to have a ZEBRA Mocha....non-fat milk of course and no whip...but I watched the gal put it on anyway! Didn't want to fuss...and figured it was a good "thursday treat"! Ran to get the preschool teachers and classmates a little something...and back to school by 10 for the party. Did I mention that I forgot the camera???? Had to drive back home BEFORE the party- what kind of mom and blogger would I be??? Naughty for sure!

The rest is a blur...mini nap for kiddos, lunch, and then headed out for my errands. Babes at home with sitter and I headed out...lets just say the HOLIDAY SPIRIT lives!!!
What do you mean? Well... there were lots of things still on my "to do" list and it was going to be a long afternoon. Hubby and I decided that he'd come home after work, pick up the kids, and meet me for dinner since my plans wouldn't end until after 6. So that meant me leaving my car for him... leaving me with the #3 car.
( the exterra that sits for weeks on end without being driven)
ANYWAY... gotta focus.... I should have listened to my gut when it took a few attempts to start, but I thought it was normal for a car that has been "resting" to be rather hard to start. NO not the case.

Headed to my first stop... got in and out...without the desired prize...tried to start the car... NOTHING!! But literally 30 seconds later a truck pulls in beside me... I hop out thinking surely this "manly man" would have jumper cables. I asked just that and he said, "Yes, do you need a jump?" I smiled, and said Please!
Well... he was a "Mr. Fix-it" and had to help me figure out how to even "pop" the hood. Now remember this is NOT my normal driving vechile...otherwise I might have known how?
It turns out that the battery had "stuff" all over it... Mr. Fix-it got out his tool box from the truck and proceeded to clean the "stuff" off. Then he gave me a "Jump"...I mean gave my car a jump. What's funny is that we kept up a conversation the entire time he was "fixing the battery". I know that he's happily married, has 2 grown kids- daughter 27, son-23 who is a state trooper and friends with my husband's friend...small world, that Mr. Fix-it works at Alcoa and is a volunteer fireman.
Once the Exterra was running like a champ I grab some money from my purse and tried to get Mr. Fix it to take it. He refused...wishing me a Merry Christmas. I asked for his name, and he simply said "Jake". I gave Jake a hug and thanked him profusely... it's so nice to know that there are GOOD people in this world, and I know "Mr. Fix-it- Jake" was there just at the time I needed him. Thank you for that one Lord. He has a master plan for every day, and today my Holiday spirit was renewed to the Brim!

In case you're wondering, I did make it though the rest of the day without problems...and hubby brought the kiddos for dinner. Loving our new Chinese find...Jimmy Jeng's!
I'm thinking the local firestation might be getting a BIG gift of CHOCOLATE...hopefully Mr. Fix-it Jake will enjoy it. Any other ideas of how I could get a Thank you to him? Pay it Forward? Open for suggetions!

Here are a few pics from the party!

Back to the GYM I go in the morning! Hope to see you there! The count down is on only a week til Christmas! ENJOY the HOLIDAY SPIRIT...pass it along!

A Country Christmas

We headed south to Nashville this week-end to spend some time enjoying a "Country Christmas"! The Gaylord Opryland hotel is AMAZING and at Christmas time it is just an AWESOME sight. We enjoyed all the Christmas decorations from beautiful lights, flowers, to music-fountain shows. You have to put this on your "to do" list...if you go...see a show. They always have a live musical, play,or a ROCKETTE show. We didn't take advantage of this...not happening with little ones, but I'm sure all were GREAT!
Enjoy the pictures.
Oh, and YES I did exercise this week-end. I taught BP on Saturday morning BEFORE we headed south, and of course the hotel is so huge we probably walked 2 miles. What did you do? Get on it...those holiday treats will add up if you don't!

15 story high Christmas Tree with 42,000 lights! 25th Country Christmas Tree!

Got Chocolate? Jackson had just a little too much...this is what a 2 year looks like after a "solo" ice cream adventure!

Let me go!! I gotta catch up with Brother!

What? Santa? Where? Over there.... Try getting them to face the camera? Yeah Right!

If you stop by...leave a note... I just love comments...don't you? Plus I'd really like to know if you're trying to keep up with that exercise regimen!

Christmas Party

We had our company Christmas party this week-end. Lots of fun, food, music, and presents! Remember when hubby and I went shopping on BLACK FRIDAY? Well, that's what it was for...our employee's gifts! Overall, I think everyone had a good time and enjoyed their gifts. Here are a few pictures of us!

Dane was not a happy camper with this BOW on his head! Me Me thought it was funny.

Daddy and Dane by the tree.

This was the best picture of us...we tried to get both boys looking at the same time...not much luck!

Jackson was cuttin' a rug to the music!

Did you get some exercise in these last few days? It's so important to stay fit during the holiday season! This can be a stressful time of the year... so go ahead and "work it out" at the gym!
Give me a post and let me know what you did!

Hope all is well with each of you! Did you get back in the exercise groove? Be sure to stay healthy this holiday season... it's the BEST GIFT you can give yourself!
Take care!

Family Time

Dad and I trying to get a good "standing" picture of Dane.

Jackson with Mam-Maw watching a "funny movie". (Madagascar....he literally was belly-laughing!)

Morgan holding Dane! How precious!

Jackson loving on Courtney!

Now he's playing "tackle" with her.

Hubby and Dane posing for a quick picture.

What fun! From Thursday to today we've been blessed with being able to see family. Dinner went well last night...everything was good...so glad I did BP yesterday morning...to help balance out that chocolate dessert. Hope you enjoyed your FAMILY TIME!

Now let's get back on the band-wagon... Exercise anyone?

Can you do it? YES YOU CAN!

What a cute MESSY little boy!

I hope this post finds you all enjoying the HOLIDAY week-end! What a great time to spend with friends and family!!! Did you over do it on Thursday? Or Friday, or TODAY...or ALL THE ABOVE??? If so, try to get out today for a walk and burn off some of those extra calories consumed. The next 30 days WILL reck HAVOC on the body if you don't keep the food calories in check, and keep exercise in the routine!

Just to inspire you... I got up this am and went to BODYPUMP. Yes, I wanted to stay home in my cozy robe, BUT I didn't! So just get up and DO IT!!!! Promises that you'll feel BETTER afterwards!!! I even got a little walk in yesterday after getting up at 3:15 AM like a crazy woman to go shopping. Lot's of savings and NO battle wounds. Economy bad?... it didn't look like it at Target.

I'm currently in the mode of cooking Thanksgiving for hubby's side, but wanted to start the day off right with some blood-pumping exercise. So now it's done and I'm feeling GREAT. Want to join in fun?

So can you do it??? YES YOU CAN!!
I dare you to exercise today and tomorrow!!! Of course Monday is a no brain-er...but don't wait til then...you'll be dragging if you do! And just think how sore you'll be! Don't chance it...get out and MOVE IT!
Leave me a comment and let me know what you did!

Much Love!

Go Titans GO!

What an entrance! God Bless AMERICA!

What a hunk!

Another hunk...not as cute as the one above!

All bundled up and ready for GAME TIME!

Hubby and I got a chance to have some major "alone" time. What did we do????
Well, we went to a TITANS game of course!!! Hubby is a HUGE Titans fan,and I must say that I joined the band wagon several years ago when I went to my first NFL game. The atmosphere is just so intoxicating...even if you drink DIET COKE!
Anyway, yesterday was a double plus because the Titans were playing the Jets...which means Brett FARVE! Oh yeah!!!
Unfortunately, the Titans lost and the record went to 10-1.Were still hoping for a chance at the Super Bowl...that's the goal!
Yes, I did have some "stadium food" which means some calories (limited to a hamburger) but, we did walk it off! We parked about a mile away from the stadium, so we got some good exercise in yesterday. What did you do???
Looking for some of those THANKFUL ACTS....leave me a commenton what you've been doing!

Thankfulness

Don't you just love little "snippets" of inspiration? I do! Church signs, businesses..anywhere that someone else is trying to change the world one sign at a time! So take the advice...make it your goal to DO ACTS of kindness this week and "Receive Thankfulness". I bet you'll have a VERY Happy Thanksgiving if you do. Funny that it really is BETTER to GIVE than receive. Try it!!

Anyone for Bodypump this week-end? Find a class or just go WALK. The mall is a great alternative for the CRISPY COLD weather. GO FOR IT...get that extra workout in... I'm warning you...next week will BITE you in the bottom! Better go ahead and finish off this week on a positve end and get that last workout in! Good luck!
Let me know some of those acts of THANKFULNESS...share in the ideas and fun!

CRAZY HAIR!!!

Can you say "CRAZY HAIR"? Here a few pics from Sunday heading to church. I just happened to have the camera in tow and had to steal these shots of Jackson. He had just pulled off his hat and the result is CRAZY HAIR!

Needless to say, we did get his haircut on Monday after aerobics! Now he's just got a "shorter" spike! He looked in the mirror after the cut and smiled. Yes, he knows that he's CUTE!

Other things... How are you all doing? Exercising? It's getting colder!!! Better get a move on it this week! Try to sneak in some extra cardio this week in preparation for those extra calories next week. Not to mention potential "missed" workouts. I know... Thursday and Friday will be hard days to make it to the gym. So DO IT THIS WEEK! Leave me a comment and let me know what you did? Example BODYPUMP today...burned about 450 calories! Also... be thinking of who inspires you? It's a good thing to "recieve" such praise. You might want to send a note to that special someone. I got my "boost" from here today.

Do you like it? I got a "blog makeover" by Once upon a Blog...see side panel for link. She did a GREAT job...being patient with my suggestions, and requested "re dos". Hope you enjoy the "simple chic" colors and continue to come back and visit. I plan on tiding up the side bars and trying to keep you motivated to exercise.

Rain, Rain, Cozy Rain

It's been raining pretty much off and on for the last few days...cool weather and just plain dreary days. All in all, I'm trying not to let the weather effect my mood. Rather embracing the cooler temperatures as a chance to snuggle with my boys! The earth needs the rain...this is what I tell myself...and be thankful in all situations! So if it's rainy where you are...take the opportunity to snuggle up, pop some popcorn and watch a few movies this week-end. Oh, and don't forget to do some type of physical activity!!! Yes, my plans do include http://www.lesmills.com/this week-end! Let me know what you get into!!
Be looking for Motivating Mommies facelift tomorrow! I'm so excited about it!

Happy Veterns Day

yes, today is the day that if you don't ever say "THANK you" to those that serve our country... this would be a GREAT day for it!
I can't help myself that when I see a service person( don't forget those ladies) that I almost make a bee-line for them. I look them straight in the eye and say THANK YOU for serving our country!!! This is especially true for those veterans of WWII and various other wars that fill our past! Can you imagine what they went through? Can you imagine what our service men and women ARE going through? I can't! It boggles my mind that they have stood death in the face and pushed foward, all in the name of country!! How wonderful is that???...what determination and courage...what strength and faith!
So...HAPPY VETERANS day to all those whom currently and who have served this GREAT country! Thank you for defending our FREEDOM!
If you don't know a veteran or service person...shoot over to www.mcbeautifullife.blogspot.com Her husband is away in Iraq defending our country...let's give her and her family some KUDOS!
And maybe, just maybe, that next time you see an older man sporting a WWII hat, or Vietnam Vet, or ANY service person in uniform... you'll think twice, and be that person....Walk over and say THANK YOU!!

Go Baby Go!

Well, here it is...Dane has been "practicing" for several weeks, but has finally mastered the art of CRAWLING! Just before the 8 month mark. Put a toy in front of him and watch him go! What a big boy! Go BABY Go!
What have you done lately to make yourself proud? Yes...what have you done for you? We need to celebrate our own victories as well as our family and friends!!! It's apart of complete "wholeness"...keeping aware of your own accomplishments and recognizing what a GREAT job you're doing! So WHAT is it? Leave me a comment and celebrate yourself today...and allow others to celebrate with you!!! Did you lose those 5 lbs? Or read the bible everyday this week? Exercise 4 times this week? Get 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep??? If so, Amen sister!! Let me know.... Oh by the way, I finished my book...it only took about a week! It's a WONDERFUL relaxing read...for those who've never tried Nicholas Sparks out...try one! Enjoy this BEAUTIFUL Saturday! Go Move it, Roxy

My heart melts

(almost a year ago...how much he has grown)

What can I say? To those fellow moms out there with sons...grab a tissue. Has your little one done this?
Last night we were laying on the couch(hubby, Jackson, and I) watching DANCING with the STARS results show and Jackson literally MELTED my heart.
He was laying toward me with his head on hubby's leg and looked up into my eyes and said, "Momma you are so BEAUTIFUL!". I smiled from the inside out and said "Thank you Jackson"!!! He simply stated, "you're welcome". Then paused for a few minutes...watched a little tv and turned toward me again and said, "Momma you're SO pretty!". WOW! What a direct hit to the heart...I stopped and just scooped him up and told him how much I loved him and thanked him for his kind words! I know his words are not just connected to the physical sense of beatuy, but rather the love that I show him. What an amazing feeling to have the knowledge that he is beginning to understand the depth of my affection for him, and that he is reciporating his love.
Talk about good medicine...everyone could use a daily dose of admiration. Especially us moms who sometimes can forget that our job of raising little ones WILL pay off.
So continue your march of motherhood and know that your love for those little ones will go a LONG LONG way to building great kids!

Hope you got the chance to sweat today! If not...MOVE it in the morning!

BOO at the Zoo

What a GREAT way to do "Halloween"! Two of my friends and I, along with our kiddos braved the chilly October night to do "BOO at the ZOO"! We had so much FUN! The zoo was decked out with decorations and lots of "candy stops" dotted the trail. Plus the kiddos got to view some animals...not just those behind the cages, but the costumes as well. Not to mention the zoo has lots of hills and it's a GREAT way to add some EXTRA EXERCISE IN! Then you can have some candy and not feel guilty! "BOO at the ZOO" is certain to become 'the Kramer boys' annual Halloween event. We'll have to tug along the hubbies next time!
Added bonus... The local news was there to do a story on "Boo at the Zoo", and I was chosen to "interview". So famous mommy and her little BUZZ-LIGHT year with Chicken Little side-kick were on tv tonight!
Enjoy the kiddos... I made a quick video of some pictures!
Spider man- Quen, Fairy Princess- Josie....and "Cow girl" Bri was always trailing behind...then it got too dark. Steph did you get a few pictures? Send them my way!

What are you doing for Halloween? Does it involve some walking? Be sure to get some extra "CALORIE BURNING" moves in or that candy will show up on the scale!!! MODERATION is key...and EXERCISE is ESSENTIAL!
Move it,
Roxy
